HELPING CARERS FIND THEMSELVES AGAIN
You care for everyone else. Now it's time someone cared for you.
Care for the Carer is more than a membership. It's a place where carers feel supported, rediscover who they are, and begin moving forward — together. Because caring for someone you love should never mean losing yourself.

WELCOME
You are more than the care you give
If you've found your way here, there's a good chance you've been spending so much time caring for someone else that you've forgotten to care for yourself. If that's you… welcome. You're in the right place.
At Care for the Carer we believe that while caring may be part of your life, it should never be the whole of who you are. Here you will find space to rest, reconnect with yourself, and remember that your wellbeing matters too.
STRONGER TOGETHER
A place to pause, connect, learn and remember that you matter too — because those who care deserve care too.
A gentle, supportive community created especially for family carers
Because those who care … deserve care too.
"COME AS YOU ARE"
Every caring journey is different.
❤️🩹 Some members join for the community.
❤️🩹 Some come for the practical resources.
❤️🩹 Some enjoy our monthly wellbeing circles and conversations
❤️🩹 And some simply need a place where they feel understood.

MORE THAN SUPPORT — A JOURNEY BACK TO YOU
A journey back to you.
For years, caring can quietly become your whole identity. Your hobbies disappear. Your confidence fades. Your dreams are put on hold. At Care for the Carer, we believe caring for someone you love should never mean losing yourself — because this isn't just about surviving caring.
❤️🩹 Together we'll rediscover forgotten hobbies
❤️🩹 Celebrate small victories, and build confidence
❤️🩹 Learn new skills, and explore new opportunities
❤️🩹 Laugh together, and support one another

"Some months we will talk about wellbeing. Some months about confidence. Some months about returning to work — sometimes beauty, health, nutrition, finances, or simply life. The conversations will be shaped by you, because this community belongs to its members."

THE HEART BEHIND CARE FOR THE CARER
Meet Dina
Carers deserve care too.
For over 22 years, I've been a family carer — supporting my parents, my elderly uncle, and raising my son alone, all while trying to hold everything together. What started as helping with small things became a life of full-time caring: hospital visits, end-of-life care, emotional support, and responsibilities no one prepares you for. I became "the strong one." But inside I was exhausted, overwhelmed, and often felt completely alone. I didn't ask for help — I didn't even know how. Like so many carers, I just got on with it. And somewhere along the way, I lost myself. I lost sight of who I was outside of caring.
Today, I still care for my 101-year-old mother. And through everything I've lived, I've come to understand one thing deeply: carers deserve care too. That's why I created this space — so no one else has to feel invisible, overwhelmed, or alone in their journey. Because you matter too.
"This isn't the end of my story. It's the beginning of ours. I'd be honoured to walk alongside you."
With love, Dina x — Founder of Care for the Carer
FRIENDS WOULD DESCRIBE ME AS
Kind, calm, positive and hopeful.
WHEN I'M NOT CARING
I like walking in nature with my baby — a four-legged little Yorkie called Brinkley!
YOU'LL USUALLY FIND ME
Making another cup of tea!

THE THING THAT MATTERS MOST TO ME
Helping carers remember that they matter too!
MY BIGGEST HOPE
That no carer ever feels invisible again!
My promise to you
I can't promise to remove every challenge caring brings. But I can promise you'll never have to face them feeling invisible. Here you will always find kindness, understanding and a community that truly understands.
YOU ARE NOT ALONE

BUT BEFORE YOU READ ON
Take a moment. Close your eyes. Take one slow, deep breath. Smile — not because everything is easy, but because for a few seconds today, you remembered yourself.
BEFORE YOU JOIN
What you might be wondering
BEFORE YOU GO…
Can I ask you something?
When was the last time someone asked how you were doing? Not the person you care for. Not the appointments. Not the medication. Not everybody else's needs.
Take a slow breath. You. Just for a moment. Ask yourself one simple question: what do I need today?
Please remember this. You matter. Your wellbeing matters. Your hopes matter. Your dreams matter. Because caring for someone else should never mean losing yourself.
And whenever you're ready, we'll be here. A place to pause. A place to connect. A place to feel understood. A place to begin finding yourself again.
